The size Medium & size Large muzzles are available with or without a forehead strap.
The forehead strap is a extra strap that attaches to the top of the basket, goes between the dogs eyes
& attaches to the neck strap. The forehead strap will help keep the dog from pawing down the muzzle.
For correct muzzle size measure the dog's snout just above the tip of the nose, go all the way around.

X-Small fits small terriers, daschunds, small jacks etc with a muzzles circumference of 6 to 7 inches.
Small fits Jack Russell etc. with a muzzle circumference of 7 to 8 inches.
Medium fits most Pit Bulls, English Staffs etc. with a muzzle circumference of 8.5 to 9.5
